Episode 14: Strawberry by Waterloo

Strawberry is the star of summer. This sparkling water is perfectly paired with an afternoon poolside.

Flavor

Strawberry by Waterloo

The Can

This flavor of Waterloo sparkling water follows the typical brand aesthetic of other Waterloo flavors. Waterloo uses purified carbonated water. The implication being that their competitors don’t. The gorgeous red wordmark is complemented by a single juicy-looking red strawberry and charming filigree. I assumed all seltzers and sparkling waters were vegan (i.e. contain no animal products) but Waterloo beverages are certified vegan.

Notes

This can punches you in the nose with a bouquet of fresh-picked, peak-summer strawberries. The aroma of sun-kissed strawberries pirouettes with a sweet flirtation in your nose, teasing your olfactory senses like a berry ballet. With your first sip, envision yourself adrift in a cosmic fizz, as if strawberry stardust has been sprinkled into each bubble. It’s a symphony for the senses, reminiscent of those cute strawberry nana candies. A subtle tartness follows a delicate balance between the bright, juicy essence of sun-ripened, fresh-picked berries and hints of Blow-Pop. The flavor oscillates from the sublime to the peculiar, like a berry-fueled adventure through an enchanted effervescent forest. A clean finish leaves the palate invigorated, making this strawberry sparkling water a delightful celebration of nature's berry bounty. The bubbles are friendly and accessible. This sparkling water is a whimsical garden where mischievous strawberries engage in a dangerous tango, whispering their juicy secrets through the bubbles.

Overall reaction

It’s as juicy as a peak summer strawberry from the farmers’ market. It’s pretty good.
